![]() I will get into more detail later on in the walkthrough. For this you will definitely want to use the Obliterator Gauge. Going back to a number of episodes on both Normal and Hard difficulty in order to gain S ranks on them. This gauge makes the game even easier than it already is, it's kind of cheap and you don't have to use it if you don't want to, but it will save you some time later regarding the ranks for each episode.ĥ) Mop up. It still won't give you too much trouble but basically this gauge will make you much more vulnerable, some bosses can even kill you in 3 attacks.Ĥ.) Full playthrough on Hard with the Obliterator Gauge. ![]() Despite being on easy this is by far the hardest playthrough. This gauge will hide your HUD, nothing to worry about.ģ) Full playthrough on Easy with the Mortal Gauge equipped. Feel free to ignore this Walkthrough on this run.Ģ) Full playthrough on Easy with the Blind Master Gauge equipped. I will mention the 3 missables and I will mention some minor stuff like unlocking gauges but all of that can be saved for later if you wish, you won't waste that much time by doing so. I really want you to enjoy the game so we are not going to worry about anything on this playthrough. We will complete Asura's Wrath by taking the following path which I think makes the most sense.ġ) Full playthrough on Normal. Aside from some unlockables you don't have to worry about collectibles, so that's one less thing to worry about. Other than that there's the story related achievements, a bunch of accumulative achievements, achievements for finishing the episodes at a specific difficulty/rank, and a couple of unlockables. This game does have some missables but I will warn you about them in the story section. Half this game is built out of cutscenes with the occasional QTE, you can skip most but not all cutscenes because of that. I say unfortunately because it does get a bit tiresome towards the end. Unfortunately this game needs 4 full playthroughs and a bit of replaying episodes for the full 1000 GS. It's by no means a hard game when I speak for myself, I still could see some people struggling but I do think anyone should be able to 1K this. Then you have the Action-Hack & Slash gameplay like Bayonetta or DMC which could be put down as the core gameplay, and last there's the on rail shooter part which is influenced a lot by games like Panzer Dragoon. There are Quick Time Events, a lot of them, really freaking lot. There are basically 3 types of gameplay in Asura's Wrath. I'd like to refer to it more as an interactive anime. I put game in quotes because I don't think you can call it a game. This is a "game" you either love or hate, I don't think there's anything in between. Hello everybody and welcome to the walkthrough for Asura's Wrath.
